Other: The name M2i comes from the buildings location stretching from "Market to (2) Island" avenue.
Most units have high ceilings and an open loft floor plan. The builder offered the option to have bedroom walls built in and some owners opted to have them built in giving the unit a more traditional floor plan. Most of the exterior walls of the unit are grey exposed concrete, some people like it others do not, it’s a personal preference. There are two entrances and two addresses for the building and they share a common courtyard. Most of the units on the ground level are two stories with the bedroom downstairs and spiral stairs going up to the living area and kitchen.

Like the most:
Residents of M2i condos have conveyed to me they love the buildings location in the heart of the East Village. Also like being close to the Gaslamp but away from the Gaslamp crowds. Compliments were also given to the industrial loft feel the units have.
Like the least:
Some residents complained about the noise from the local fire station located two blocks to the west.
As with most mid rise buildings residents in the M2i lofts wish they had a pool and a hot tub.
