Other: There are 11 condos per floor on floors 2-6, eight on floors 7-18, six on floors 19 & 20 and four condos on the top three floors 21-23.
Views into infield of the ballpark start around $800K for 1,100 sq.ft.
Most floor plans here tend to run a little small compared to a lot of other high rise buildings. This is a great second home choice. A lot of lower level two bedroom units only have one parking space in the garage.

Units facing these directions will probably see:
West: The Legend condos direct west facing view for most units is directly into the Marriott hotel. Lower floors look into the Marriott’s parking garage. From the very top view floors you should be able to see over the hotel, but the roof top equipment is not very attractive.
North: In 2013 from The Legend views to the North are very unobstructed, at least for a few block out. This is a great city lights view at night. There are two towers up a few blocks to the North, one is Alta and the other The Mark. Both of these are tall buildings you wont be able to see over. Long term, this view will most likely include two additional highrise towers. One will be in the block across the street (closer than Alta and The Mark) that proposed building is called Cosmopolitan Square. There has been a sign on the corner with “coming soon” on it, this sign has been there since 2005 or so, I have no idea when it will be built. It is to go on the north side of the block leaving the fire station on the South side of the block. This building is proposed to be taller than The Legend condo building. One block north of Cosmopolitan Square and in line with the Alta and The Mark buildings will most likely be another high rise on what is now a vacant parking lot. There are not current plans approved for that lot as of 2010, but there was a high rise planned there before that got scrapped for various reasons.
East: The Eastern view from The Legend is one of my favorites as you get to over look the Park at the Park, which is the grass area directly behind the playing field. There are some office and commercial building on the other side of the park, but far enough away to not be obtrusive, plus since these not residential buildings your unit feels more private at night. Units facing this direction will have some views into the playing field when looking SE, which for the units on the NE corner will require you to be on your balcony to see the playing field or at least near the windows. Units on the SE corner are the most coveted because you can sit on your sofa and watch the game. Expect to pay a premium for the SE corner units.
South: The South view at The Legend condominiums generally looks into the back or side of the stadium, it’s a relatively private view when there are no events at the stadium. I would not consider this a very attractive view, this is probably the least expensive view in the building. The SE corner is a different story, see my comments above. The SW units on the higher floors have a good bay view, looking SW between the stadium and the Marriott hotel. Lower floor SW units have an industrial view of all buildings.
Note: These views may change in the future or if you are on a very low floor may not have any view. Each buyer should verify on their own and the above statements carry no guarantee or warranty.

Like the most: The Legend condo residents conveyed to me they love the 7th floor social lounge which is worth enjoying regardless of whether or not a ball game is being played in the stadium. Residents love the location close to all the action of the Gaslamp and restaurants throughout the East Village. Praise was also given to the security of the building. The Legend condos have a person in the lobby 24/7 and a roaming security guard. Some commented that the residents are all very nice and that the building is maintained very well and its always spotless.
Like the least: Some Legend condo owners said it can be challenging to enter and exit by car during ball games.
Other comments: A wonderful place to live, with all the amenities you can take a vacation without leaving the building and adjacent park. This building is great for dogs being so close to the Park at Petco Park.
